A reference read once leaves nothing behind. You can scroll 887 exercises, thirty-odd FMD ingredients, and three thousand quotes, and still have to retype the same search to find the one entry you wanted again. The three compendiums at apps.fredric18.uk now have bookmarks, and what you keep survives the device through Google Drive sync.
1. Three Compendiums, One Way to Keep Things
- Exercise Form Encyclopedia — mark the movements from 887 machine, free-weight, and bodyweight exercises that belong in your routine.
- FMD Diet Encyclopedia — keep the ingredients for your shopping list, and the ones to avoid, in separate reach.
- Quote Finder — existing favorites carry over to the same mechanism.
Each compendium carries a “My Bookmarks” filter. Switch it on and only the entries you kept remain; the state is written into the address bar, so a refresh or a shared link opens the same view. Tap the bookmark icon on a card again to release it.
2. Workout Logging Split Four Ways
The Workout Routine Planner now classifies movements as Weights, Cardio, Relaxation Stretching, or Strengthening Stretching. The type reshapes the log table: load and reps for weights, time for cardio, hold time for relaxation stretching, repetitions for strengthening stretching.
The monthly calendar prints those totals by type in distinct colours, so a glance across a month is enough to notice that cardio went missing.
3. Google Drive Sync — What Is Kept, and How
Connect a Google account from Data Sync, to the left of the language selector in the top bar, and the following is kept:
- Workout logs, saved routines, and the weekly schedule
- Every bookmark across the three compendiums
Once connected, sync runs automatically about once a minute, and you can sync on demand or take a snapshot backup at any time. The latest five backups are kept and older ones move to your Drive trash. Files are organised inside the Fredric18 / Apps folder in your own Drive, so you can always see what is stored where. No account credentials are held by the service, and the storage location is your Drive, not ours.
Each tool shows whether sync is currently on and what is being kept. Everything works without connecting, in which case data stays in the browser you are using. The same screen also offers a JSON export you can keep and restore from later.
4. The Flow, in Four Steps
- Bookmark the entries you want to return to.
- Read them back with the “My Bookmarks” filter.
- Connect your Google account from Data Sync in the top bar.
- Connect the same account on another device and your logs and bookmarks are already there.
No installation, no sign-up. Open a compendium at apps.fredric18.uk and start with whatever you looked up today.
