Release 1.0.42.6 — FIT Standard Workout Data, Utility Renaming & Mobile UX Overhaul

What’s New

We have redefined the data model behind Workout Log to follow the fitness industry standard FIT profile — seconds for duration, meters for distance, meters per second for speed, and kilograms for weight. This establishes a foundation for interoperability with other services and devices. Your existing records are migrated automatically when loaded, so no action is required.

Utilities Have Been Renamed

  • Fitness Wiki → Weight Training Wiki — an illustrated reference for 880+ gym machine and free-weight exercises, with target muscle anatomy and form cues.
  • Fitness Routine Plan → Workout Log — a set-by-set logger for weights, cardio and stretching, organized by a monthly calendar.

The name shown in listings, search results and at the top of each screen is now always identical, and the tabs were reordered to Workout Calendar · Workout Note · Recommended Routines · My Routines.

Cardio: Enter Speed or Distance — Either Works

Treadmills report speed; outdoor running and cycling are naturally measured in distance. Now entering either one derives the other from your recorded time. Log 30 minutes at 10 km/h and the distance becomes 5 km; log 5 km over 30 minutes and the speed becomes 10 km/h.

A Simpler Logging Flow

  • Weekly scheduler removed — records are no longer auto-filled from a weekday layout, so unwanted defaults never enter your log.
  • Two-step routine loading — pick a routine, then pick the day you are training, and that exact set-up fills your note.
  • Rest timer preference persists — set it to 60 seconds once and it stays that way on your next visit and on your other devices.

Mobile Experience

  • One back gesture closes a dialog and returns you exactly where you were.
  • Narrow screens show compact category dots on the calendar; wider screens break each category onto its own line.
  • Exercises with many target muscles no longer overflow the screen width.
  • Switching tabs returns you to the top of the view.

Reliability & Fixes

  • Fixed a defect where switching weight units corrupted saved records. Unit switching now changes the display only and leaves stored values untouched.
  • Fixed incomplete sets being counted in totals. The calendar, monthly statistics and training streaks now reflect only what you actually completed.
  • Cloud connections now survive reopening the installed home-screen app, and expired sessions renew silently without extra steps.
  • Exercises added through search always stay linked to the reference guide, and duplicates can no longer be registered.
  • Resolved an issue where the data sync dialog would not open, along with several console warnings.
